Brad Yockey has served as City
Treasurer since 2003.
The Treasurer maintains all of the City's financial
accounts, manages investments of City funds, holds the position of
Treasurer on the Police and Fire Pension Boards, and maintains the
fixed asset accounts of the City. He also assists in the preparation
of the annual budget and tax levy. The tax levy must be passed by the
City Council by the second Tuesday in December.
The Treasurer completes the annual Treasurer's report for publication
by October 31 of each year, attends all regular City Council meetings
for the purpose of answering any financial questions relating to the
City, and acts as the
IMRF and ICMA
representative for the City of Olney.
The City of Olney Fiscal year is May 1st
through April 30th.
