The City of Olney owns and maintains 3
cemeteries, Haven Hill, Memorial Gardens and Maple Dale. Cemetery
lots can be purchased by contacting personnel in the Park Department
at (618) 395-1473. Cemetery deeds and burial records are on file at
City Hall (618) 395-7302. Burial records can also be found on-line
at

| Haven
Hill Cemetery |

Haven Hill Cemetery is the oldest of the
City owned cemeteries. This cemetery is located between the 900
block of N. Walnut and N. Ludlow and consists of 4392 lots. Very few
lots are available for sale. Recently, the City of Olney purchased a
strip of railroad property which is planned for future expansion of
the cemetery.

Gardens |

Memorial Gardens is located west of
Haven Hill Cemetery on N. Ludlow. Memorial Gardens is an extension
of Haven Hill. All headstones in Memorial Gardens are required to be
ground level. There are 625 lots at Memorial Gardens.

| Maple
Dale Cemetery |

Maple Dale Cemetery is located at the
corner of Maple Dale Street and Glenwood Avenue just north of U.S.
Route 50. There are approximately 606 lots contained within this
cemetery.
