Annual Boat Licenses Now Available The Olney City Hall announces that the annual boat licenses are now available for 2010. These would make a great Christmas gift for the boaters on your list. Annual boat licenses are sold on a calendar basis and are valid January through December. A boating permit is required for all water crafts put into the water at any of the three city-owned lakes. As in the past, the name and address of the insurance company, make and horse power of the boat are needed when purchasing a boat license. The cost for the annual boat licenses are the same as last year and are as follows: Class A (non-powered) $10, Class B (electric trolling motors and motors with less than 25 hp) $20, Class C (25 hp to less than 75 hp) $35, and Class D (75 hp and up) $50.
