As of August 30, 2021, Executive Order 2021-20 issues a statewide indoor mask mandate for all Illinois residents (over the age of 2 and able to medically tolerate a face covering), regardless of vaccination status.  Face coverings may be removed by workers at workplaces when they can consistently maintain six feet of distance.

Face coverings are also recommended  in crowded outdoor settings and for activities that involve close contact with others who are not fully vaccinated.

Face coverings may be temporarily removed while eating or drinking.

The Olney City Hall lobby is open to the public.  Visitors shall wear face coverings and observe social distancing.

The Executive Order also requires that healthcare workers, all Pre-K through 12 teachers and staff, as well as higher education personnel and students receive the COVID-19 vaccine.  Such individuals who are unable or unwilling to receive the vaccine will be required to get tested for COVID-19 at least once per week.
